The Advanced Building Systems and Technologies course aims to deepen students’ understanding of innovative technologies and systems in contemporary architecture, with a focus on integrating technical performance with functionality and aesthetics.

The course covers a range of topics related to digital design and construction technologies and advanced systems in architecture through two main modules. The first module focuses on advanced building systems, architectural and structural solutions, sustainable building materials, and modern construction and manufacturing methods. The second module addresses smart and digital technologies in buildings, such as digital modeling, automation, and advanced digital management and control systems.

The practical component includes the analysis of global case studies, preparation of technical reports, as well as field and laboratory visits that allow students to directly explore real-world applications of these systems. Students are assessed through exams, quizzes, continuous evaluation, presentations, and both individual and group discussions, in addition to a final research project submitted at the end of the course.
