This course focus on doing experimental investigation of a fundamental or practical problem in agricultural (bio) technology to be supervised by a faculty member and should be conducted in the last academic year. Upon completion, students have to write their finding (s) in a mini-thesis format and present it in front of their peers.

Course objectives: 

1. Identify problem(s) in agricultural (bio) technology.

2. Conduct literature review on the project domain and formulate a proposal.

3. Apply the experiment (s) using relevant facilities (e.g. laboratories, smart greenhouse, and fields, etc.).

4. Collect and analyse data relevant to the subject using a variety of research techniques.

5. Write a report in accordance with scientific guidelines and conduct presentation in front of peers.

6. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team with colleagues and advisors
