This course introduces students to the philosophy and concepts of Total Quality Management (TQM), including its historical evolutions, principles, and practices. In addition, it explores the techniques and tools associated with the total quality management approach. Students will learn the fundamental principles and key issues of TQM including the total quality approach, quality and global competitiveness, quality culture, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement methods, and total quality tools.
